Location: Bern Workload: Full time Your tasks: Collaboration with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and define the target audience, their needs, and the requirements for the dashboard or web application. Designing complex interactive systems that offer user-friendly, intuitive, interactive, and aesthetically appealing user interfaces for an optimal user experience. Creating design specifications for the content and functionalities to be implemented, including the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides. Structuring and organizing the information architecture to ensure intuitive navigation and usability. Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to plan and test layouts and user flows. Designing data visualizations in close collaboration with subject matter experts, aiming to present key data and metrics clearly and to support easy interpretation. Conceptualizing and developing responsive designs to ensure that the application functions well and looks appealing across different devices. Close collaboration with frontend and backend developers to ensure the technical feasibility of the designs and the delivery of the intended user experience. Ensuring the quality of the user interface through regular testing and evaluation of prototypes and final designs. Ensuring the intuitive integration of multilingual support (German, French, English, and Italian – as needed). Your profile: Several years of professional experience in designing user interfaces and user experiences, particularly for dashboards and data-intensive web applications. Ability to present complex data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand way within dashboards. Strong communication skills to explain design decisions clearly and constructively integrate feedback from stakeholders and developers. Proficient in common design tools (such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite) for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. Experience in designing and conducting usability tests, applying best practices in usability and accessibility, and adhering to relevant design standards. Creative and analytical thinking to solve design challenges and continuously improve the user experience.
