Your tasks: Design our global datacenter infrastructure, including cloud integration Responsible for a sustainable design within the datacenter space as well as its integration with other solution areas along the whole solution lifecycle Drive the transformation of our environment towards an Infrastructure-As-Code approach Act as an architecture guardian striving for standard solutions Assess change requests for technical feasibility, effort, and risk including cost estimates Conduct active requirements engineering with our business partners globally Explore new technologies and assess its potential, initiate and guard changes Act as Project Manager within the solution area and Technical lead in implementation projects Work with other Solutions Architect on different projects outside the datacenter area Review, refresh and evolve datacenter infrastructure in our three global datacenters in the US, Switzerland and Malaysia Your profile: Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering (Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent) At least 5 years’ design experience with focus on datacenter in enterprise environments (proven Datacenter Infrastructure Design, Architecture and Project Management skills) Deep knowledge of VMWare SDDC solutions Experience adopting Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS/DevOps services) is a big asset Expert in scripting, automating and orchestrating infrastructure related procedures Strong time management and organizational skills including the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and deal with stressful situations Authentic, self-driven team player with a result-oriented and positive attitude Ability to adopt to different surroundings and situations in a multicultural environment Open for international travel depending on business needs (approx.10%)
