Location: Zurich, hybrid Workload: 80-100% Your tasks: Design, Develop, and Test: Craft full-featured client-side applications using React and Joy UI. Your role will focus on building responsive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience. On the backend, you will work with a mixture of GraphQL and REST APIs. State Management for Interactive Data Applications: Tackle complex state management challenges in a modern, data-intensive environment. You will design scalable solutions that keep the client application efficient, responsive, and maintainable, even under heavy data loads. Client-Side Data Processing and Visualisation: Implement and optimize advanced client-side data processing directly in the browser. Leverage WebAssembly to accelerate computationally intensive tasks, ensuring a highly responsive user experience even with large or complex datasets. Design and build rich, interactive visualizations that transform raw data into intuitive, user-friendly insights. AI-Powered Productivity – Leverage LLM-based code assistants, design generators, and test-automation tools to move faster and raise the quality bar. Share your workflows with the team. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with design, product management, and engineering teams. Collaboration is key to integrating diverse perspectives and achieving the best possible results for our projects. Your profile: (Must have) Master/Bachelor Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience (Must have) Good communications skills with fluency in English (Must have) Extensive experience in Typescript, React, CSS3, and HTML5 (Must have) Proven record of building data-heavy UIs that stay responsive through smart state management and memoisation (Plus) Experience with web applications involving heavy data processing (e.g. wasm) and visualization (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) (Plus) Technical leadership experience (Plus plus) Willingness to pick up so Rust programming for simple backend changes :)
