Your tasks: An exciting and dynamic role as leading IT-Architect, delivering a scalable platform for global analysis and visualisation: You translate our data storage and processing requirements into state of the art database solutions, with a minimum of guidance. You give support to our clients and implement client-specific solutions in form of standardized API’s. You manage the security and users access to our infrastructure. You continuously evaluate alternatives and optimize the performance . Your profile: A University degree (Msc or PhD) in computer science or equivalent 3+ years of working experience with: PostgreqSQL/PostGIS and cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) API design, maintenance, documentation and testing (DjangoREST, WMS, WFS, WCS,etc.) Linux, BASH command line and admin experience. Docker, Kubernetes, Spark Experience with geoprocessing of spatial data (Vector/Raster) is a big plus Experience on geoserver, tileserver or similar spatial data backends a plus Advanced knowledge in at least one of these programming languages (Python, Java, R) Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts is a plus Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
