Responsibilities: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code Implementation and configuration of Desktop and Web-GIS solutions Development of features and plugins Build efficient and reusable software components / software libraries Training and Level 3 support on the Geo stack Promote open source software in technical conferences Work within an agile software engineering environment Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science or Geoinformatics At least 2 years’ experience in software development Understanding of Agile development practices Desire to participate in open source communities and make a difference Nice to have: Javascript, Angular/React/etc, HTML5, CSS Python (Pyramid), C++ (Qt) or JAVA (Spring) programming language and frameworks Experience in working with Continuous Delivery concepts and tools DevOps experience with Cloud infrastructure and Docker/Kubernetes Atlassian software development suite Open Source community involvement experience
