Your tasks: · Development of analytical applications e.g. for Data Science / Machine Learning Projects, (in Python, Scala, SQL and/or R) · Creation of highly scalable data processing chains based on Snowflake in Azure · Interdisciplinary collaboration with architects, machine learning engineers, data scientists and subject matter experts · Analysis of technical issues (especially reporting) Your profile: · Many years of experience in software engineering with one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, C# · Experience with Git, Continuous Integration, Unit-Testing and DevOps principles · Sound knowledge with SQL and relational modeling (Hive, Snowflake) · Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift · Understanding of Cloud Technologies (Azure and Distributed Systems) · Linux and Bash · Agile · B2 German language skills Nice to have: · Experience working on data-focused software projects using Java or Python and modern methodologies (DevOps, Agile, Continuous Delivery) · Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive Knowledge
