Your tasks: - As CIO you have the overall technical responsibility for our Digital Asset Custody Platform. This includes both development and operation. The team with which you will assume this responsibility is composed of an on-site unit based in Switzerland and an outsourced near shore team. - You are responsible for leading your team(s) through the full development lifecycle of our product. This includes technical specifications, architecture management, release-planning, steering the near-shore provider and quality assurance through to delivery, to the external operating team. - In addition, your key first tasks will be to A) optimize the overall target operating model in order to increase agility and development output and B) organize the operations support organization. - We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded executive and CIO, who seeks to work in a fast-paced startup and wants to build a business based on a state-of-the-art technical solution in the area of digital assets and crypto currencies. your profile: • You have >10 years professional work experience in IT and business management functions • Previous experience as CIO or similar leadership role such as Head Product Development including experience in managing a shored IT development • Ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists • Comfortably interact and explain gravitas to senior leadership including BoD-level and external stakeholders & clients • Proven track record in recruiting and managing new talents for IT functions • Ideally you have Blockchain knowledge and/or experience in the financial service industry Skills: •A leader and strong team player who inspires and fosters collaboration both on a strategic partnership level as well as on a multi-cultural operational level •Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change to achieve common goals •Ability to effectively drive people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment •Strong analytical-, problem solving-, action planning-, and tracking capabilities •Profound technical knowledge and experience in enterprise grade solutions •Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluency in English is required, proficiency in German
