Your tasks: Develop and build the backend of our trading platform on our functional stack Architect our side-steam & material database(s) and the intelligent search layer on top of it Development of that database(s) and integration into the Circado backend / web-API Your profile: You have a master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Previous work experience in software development You have experience with web application development and designing relational databases You feel comfortable discussing complex technical topics in English and German You are self-motivated and willing to learn the skills needed to solve the problems you will face You have a Swiss or EU passport (or another permit that allows you to work in Switzerland) Nice to Have: Experience with functional programming or front-end development Interest in Data Science, specifically in the NLP field Our Stack: Elm and JavaScript front-end Elixir and Phoenix back-end exposing a GraphQl API PostgreSQL database GitHub, CircleCi and Heroku as our DevOps tools
