Your tasks: We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to work on cross-disciplinary projects in collaboration with researchers from several universities within and outside of Switzerland. Additionally you will interact with people from the industrial and social impact sector in order to create innovative data driven solutions to real-world social challenges. Qualifications Master's degree or PhD level in the field of computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, physics Experience in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques (NLP, Deep Learning) Programming experience in the following languages Python, R, SQL and Matlab Experience in applying data science methods to business problems Experience in applying advanced analytical and statistical methods in the commercial world Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields Proven track record of publications Ability to perform grant and proposal writing effortlessly Able to create innovative social impact solutions Experience in working in international and multilingual environment Experience in social impact Good knowledge about demographics of the developing world countries Experience in entrepreneurial and leadership roles Additional knowledge on neuroscience and economics is a plus Willingness to travel up to 50% Fluency in English, Intermediate in German and an additional language from the developing world is required
