Your tasks/profile: Currently, we manage all non-container based services using Puppet and Ansible. Therefore your work will also include to debug tricky problems involving some amount of archeology. We also share our work with regards to incidents & alerts that occur during office hours. And, based on a shift plan, you can be on duty for alerts outside office hours, which is why we are looking for someone who already has experience with this We don't run any hardware ourselves, we use our customers on-premise hypervisors or cloud providers. This means that we can mostly work remotely from anywhere. For our team we search a person who would like to take over the responsibility for one of our biggest customers for whom we manage about 350 VMs mainly with puppet. This customer is moving to GCP where you will do lot of work with Terraform. One of our Senior Engineers will train you carefully. This job is for you if... you are interested in growing by helping, sharing, or educating your colleagues with your experience in Linux Sysadmin, GCP and networks. you find pleasure in independently investigating the nitty-gritty of a bug and developing a pragmatic solution. you have experience with Puppet and you also like to work and gain experience with Ansible and Terraform you are a curious mind and want to learn more about new tools, technologies and open source software. you have excellent communication skills in German and preferably English you have an enthusiastic and open manner and find your personal values and beliefs represented in our Handbook.
