Your tasks: Operate and continuously improve our Service Desk that covers all operational aspects including a helpdesk for employees as well as a central hub for all service requests and incidents Participate in additional remunerated on-call rotations to support 24/7 operation Support Microsoft Operating System components on desktop, servers and in the cloud Ensure adherence to our security baseline for all infrastructure and ensure systems are continuously patched and updated Provide 1st and 2nd level support for select business applications operated in-house Work closely with IT developers and testers prior to deploying application / infrastructure updates into production Augment monitoring systems for both application and infrastructure components Document application and infrastructure designs and provide knowledge transfers to other team members Actively automate repetitive tasks through scripting or workflow automation tools Your profile: Strong Microsoft Windows OS, infrastructure and network skills as well as Azure know-how Powershell scripting skills Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and SQL queries Systems monitoring experience Virtualization experience Citrix infrastructure exposure Dynamic, proactive attitude; able to work independently and hit the ground running Optional: Preferably Microsoft Certified NetScaler a nice to have ITIL certification Linux know-how a big plus
